CHARMS 3 HOUR CLASS FOR ALL LEVELS  INCLUDES A PACKET OF 10g Precious Metal Clay

YOU WILL LEARN TO MAKE CHARMS USING PRECIOUS METAL CLAY AND THE USE OF A GAS TORCH.  tHIS WILL ENABLE YOU TO MAKE CHARMS AT HOME WITH VERY LITTLE NEED FOR EXPENSIVE EQUIPMENT...A GAS TORCH AND SAFE FIRING BLOCK AND OFF YOU GO.

DAYTIME BEGINNERS CHARMS CLASS 

FRIDAY'S        11AM - 2PM MARCH  23 or 30

TUESDAY'S      2 PM - 5PM MARCH  20 or 27 

We will be using a gas torch to fire the charms.  This class will teach and enable you to make items at home using an affordable Gas torch!

You will be awarded a Certificate of Attendance for Intensive Beginners in PMC.(Sorry not for the shorter class)This should enable you to proceed to the next stage Intermediate PMC classes at other training institutions/studios/jewellery schools for more types of classes e.g. rings.

 PRECIOUS METAL CLAY 'PMC'

Precious Metal Clay (PMC) is a revolutionary material in the jewellery world developed by Mitsubishi Materials in the early 1990's.

The ingredients of PMC are micro-particles of 99.9% pure silver or pure gold suspended in an organic binder. Various different forms include clay, sheet, slip (liquid clay), and syringe form and now Copper and Bronze Clay.  

Each student will make a Pendant and pair of earrings or Choose from other options e.g. keyring Fob and charms.

SANDING, BURNISHING AND POLISHING

TORCH AND KILN FIRING 

AT THE END OF THE CLASS YOU WILL SURELY HAVE MADE 3 - 5 ITEMS READY TO WEAR HOME.

It's simple...at CJS you will be taught the basic techniques that will allow you to make PMC jewellery at home. You don't need any experience or background in jewellery making or silversmithing. Just bring your own unique creativity.

You will be taught step by step techniques and can ask as many questions as you wish. PMC is an amazing product and makes a great hobby or business.  Friends and family will be amazed at the personal and unique gifts you can make. All our classes are especially for begginers!  No experience required at all!

The more you practice the techniques of rolling, designing and texture the less wastage of PMC and better first time results
