Cancellation Policy & Terms and Conditions

Before you pay:

Please note that we are not a VAT registered Business therefore no vat will be shown on any receipts.

Due to fixed overheads Refunds are not given but an alternative course date can be arranged if you are unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances. Minimum 14 days notification required prior to booked class date.  You may transfer your booking to a friend/other age 18plus along with a copy of the T&C's.

Students must be over 18 years old. 

Late attendance - you must telephone us of any delay as class starts promptly.  Tel: 020 8274 2917 

Health and Safety - Dress code for  Metal Clay classes: Suitable clothing that does not hang loose or wearing of flammable items. Long hair must be tied back. Shoes must fully cover the feet, no flip flops or open toe footwear will be allowed as sharp tools will be in use. No exceptions. You will be refused class entry and no refund if you do not adhere to Health & Safety requirements.

Documents on H&S including use of tools and equipment will be issued on arrival and must be adhered to. Failure may result in loss of class place and no refund or alternative class will be offered for breach of Health and safety requirements.

If a class has to be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances e.g. tutor illness, utilities failure or loss of Business Premises the option to book an alternative class date or full refund will be offered. No responsibility or liability for costs or loss will be taken for travel / accommodation costs or any other paid or unpaid arrangements. Students must and are strongly advised to arrange insurance cover for such circumstances.

In the unlikely event of 'Kiln' failure we will proceed with class by using a Gas Torch where practical and depending on the metal clay being used as some are kiln fired only and safe and in accordance with Health and Safety. If it is not possible to proceed with firing process Items made will be sent or delivered polished in due course. No liabilty or costs will be offered or paid in respect of Appliance failure or Business Premises issues eg. power cut, above and beyond the control of Croydon Jewellery School.

Disability Access: At present the current rented premises are not suitable for wheelchair users or people who may have physical disability whereby expert assistance may be required.  Please check with the Croydon Jewellery School if we can accommodate your individual needs where possible.

Only book and pay for a class if you accept the Cancellation Policy,Terms & Conditions and Health & Safety requirements.
